"Play On!"

Picton Theatre Group presents 'Play On' a farcical comedy - a play within a play. When a community theatre group are offered a royalty-free play - Murder Most Foul - from new local playwright Phyllis Montague, the group welcome the chance to put the theatre back ‘into the black’ for the first time in years. Enjoy as you get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at a group of actors stumbling through a set of rehearsals that leaves you wondering if the show can go on. Then watch an opening night where everything that can go wrong, does go wrong. It is an utter disaster that would make any producer weep - (but will have everyone rolling in the aisles in hysterics - an hilarious romp). Performances are each Saturday July 18 & 25, and August 1 & 8. There is one matinee show at 2pm on the 1st Aug 2009. All shows are BYO & the evening shows at 8pm also include the option of PTG’s now famous 2 course dinner show package commencing at 6.30pm. Ticket are now selling & can be purchased by phone or in person from our booking agent, the Visitor Information Centre in Picton, phone 4677 8313 Credit card payments accepted by phone & payment is always made at time of booking. Ticket prices: Matinee 2pm, 1st Aug. $15 for all tickets.Saturday evening shows 18th July to 8th August: $27 (or $17 concession). Two course dinner & show tickets are $45 (or $35 concession). Group bookings of 20 or more will receive one free ticket. Please be aware that we will use flashing strobe lights during the show.
