Ruby Moon

Heidelberg Theatre Company Youth is proud to present ‘Ruby Moon’. Part fairytale, part mystery, the production deals with the trials and tribulations associated with losing a child, and the lengths two people will go to keep the memories alive. Ruby Moon follows Ray (Eben Rojter) and Sylvie (Jessica Cole), a married couple living in an externally pleasant neighbourhood. To the public eye, they are a seemingly normal suburban couple struggling to deal with their daughter’s disappearance. Privately, however, their agony is slowly taking over their relationship, their lives and their minds. This leads them to a series of disturbing interrogations on their wacky and some-what damaged neighbours, anyone of whom may have played a part on Ruby’s vanishing. Elise Dorian, director of this production, captures the whimsical, eerie nature of the script, transporting Matt Cameron’s text to the stage.
