Peninsula Theatre Company is proud to announce the opening of the David Williamson's Classic "Don's Party" directed by Henry Jennings

To celebrate our 21st Birthday this year we are presenting the first play we ever did,"Don's Party"

Despite being written over 30 years ago this classic retains as much relevance to today as it did when it opened in 1973.With its biting humour and fantastic characters Dons' party is a night we can all identify with and a Party we have all been to!Set on election night 1969, the play takes place at a suburban house in Melbourne where Don has gathered his left wing friends together to celebrate the impending Labour Party victory. As the evening wears on and the partygoers get more drunk and disillusioned with the election, sexual tensions emerge and relationships are stretched in a very funny and bitter look at suburban life.We can all relate to the characters and I am sure you will even know some of them!

So book your seats for this great show with a talented cast including,Myriam Besso,Millie Heywood,Mark Flynn,Bruce Wyatt,Peter Prendergast,Bronwen Calcraft,Louise Forder,James Balian,Ross Leahy,Sarah Buchanan and Henry Jennings.

This is one not to be missed.
