Maureen and Morrie are getting married - and you are invited! Dimboola is a comedy written in the 1970's about a country wedding that unites two dysfunctional families (and what families aren't!)with the audience as the wedding guests. It will be set in the 1950's, and the audience are invited to dress in clothes appropriate to a wedding of that time. The ticket prices include a 3 course meal, but please BYO drinks and glasses. Sherries will be served from 7.30pm for an 8pm sharp start. This show is our Anonymous Theatre offering for the year. Actors rehearse individually with the director and do not know who else is in the show with them until it is time for them to perform on the night. This makes for electrifying and hilarious theatre! The cast will then have a week to rehearse together before performing again for three more shows, so if you miss out on the May 2nd performance you still have the chance to enjoy this iconic Australian comedy on another night.
