Life just ain't what you thought it would beÂ…
LoveÂ… deathÂ… passionÂ… conflictÂ… awe and wonder. What if the Universe could play back to us what it sees but cannot possibly comprehend?
A lost angel crashes to earth and stands, stupid and blinking. A writer's words fly off like birds, leaving a yawning blankness on the page. A physicist attempts to plumb the depths of the universe, armed with nothing but a few blunt numbers.
All are utterly unequipped for the journey ahead, and thoroughly unprepared to meet the coming darkness.
Happily a host of unruly, unexpected guides will be on hand to ensure that things donÂ’t turn out like anyone might have planned.
Something wonderful and unexpected from the international RedStarDogFish company, inspired by the unique theatrical teachings of the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris. Each member of the company – hailing from Australia, Sweden, Greece, Canada, America and Ireland – brings to This Savage Parade, an insatiable curiosity about forms of theatrical expression and a spirit of joyful exploration.
A fantastic journey of the soul that mixes the whimsical with the acerbic, the delicate and transient with the cruel and crushing.
