Two Weeks with the Queen Colin Mudford is a typical 12 year old Aussie kid with a love for cricket and fighter planes.
He is sick of being put behind his little brother Luke. For Christmas, Luke got a toy plane with the exact number and exact colour of the pilot's helmet he wanted! While Colin wanted a microscope and he got plain leather school shoes.
Luke suddenly became seriously ill with cancer on that Christmas day. To try and protect Colin from the pain of his brother death, Colin's parents send him to live with his Aunty Iris and Uncle Bob in England.
While there he attempts to seek an audience with the Queen of England to get the best doctor in the world to save his brother.
