Mr Jim's Magic Show

Mr Jim brings his magic to The Don Looking for an outing for your kids during the January school holidays? Bring them to Mr Jim’s Magic Show at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre in Thornlie on Thursday 22 January and Wednesday 28 January. There will be two shows each day, one at 11am and another at 1pm. Treat your kids to an experience of old-fashioned magic, minus the computer-generated effects, with wide-eyed illusions and plenty of belly laughs. Mr Jim’s playful approach to magic has earned him a reputation as the Robin Williams of children’s entertainment. This interactive show includes card tricks and rabbits emerging from hats. Mr Jim’s supporting cast includes several beautiful white doves and Felicity, a cute fluffy Angora rabbit. Mr Jim is professional entertainer James Sleight, who has been awarded the Australian National Magic Champion title three times, along with Australia’s Best Children’s Magician. Sleight performs locally and internationally for every type of audience from top level corporate functions to children’s birthday parties and has even performed for the Sultan of Brunei and his family. Mr Jim’s Magic Show is suitable for all ages, but is aimed at children aged five to 12 years.
