Melville Theatre Company will present the first of it's year of mainly light-hearted entertainment, commencing February 27th.

Doctor in The House was adapted forn the first of the series of novels by Richard Gordon in the "Doctor in ...: series

It is probably best remembered from the film version, made in the late 1950,s starring Dirk Bogarde, Kenneth More, Donald Sinden, James Robertson- Justice, Joan Sims, among others!

The story concerns the adventures and misadventures -mostly the latter- of a group of young medical students at 'St Swithin's Hospital' and contains just about every medical joke ever written. You will never look at medicine in the same light again after watching this play!
