The Goldfields Repertory Club's ever popular Christmas Show is on again!
The 2005 Show is being locally written and directed and features a talented cast of 21, all singing and dancing their way through medical mayhem and madness.
DR LURVE AND THE SYRINGE OF SHAME
"It's 2005 and the Gollum Government's finances are in crisis. Huge spending cuts have to be imposed - and the medical sector must cut back on its budget by a massive 75 per cent! Something is "not quite right" at St Wretched's Regional Hospital where administrator Dr Weevil & Matron Vontaweiner are obviously up to no good. There are rumours about a mysterious " syringe " and wacky staff members whose medical know-how leaves a lot to be desired. So what will happen when they are assigned the (in)famous Dr. Richard Lurve? He's a hopeless medical school graduate who is far more interested in wine, women and song than good medical practice.
He arrives at St Wretched's to crazy patients, seductive nurses and................ the tea lady from hell !
Is everything really what it seems, or is this all in a day's work ?"
Enjoy a three-course Christmas dinner, followed by this wonderful original show.
Drinks on sale from the rep club bar.
Doors open at 6.45pm with meals served by 7pm.
Show starts 8pm sharp!
