ArtsLab08 Atomiser - 'A History in the Life

(and possible death) of My Pelvis'

Alex Vaughan is building a solid underground following for her brassy irreverent cabaret style. 'A History in the Life (and possible death) of My Pelvis' is created and performed by Alex Vaughan. Following in the footsteps of the likes of Liza Minnelli and Phyllis Diller, Vaughan’s show is a combination of stand up and dark cabaret.

“Does the Vagina Monologues ring a bell? Well, this is not it!” said Vaughan. “It’s also not a chick flick, nor is it for the fainthearted. I have thrown in some sex, drugs, alcohol and a little bit of self hatred for good measure!”

Alex Vaughan spent almost eight years with the Australian Theatre for Young People; she toured to Belfast with the company, performing in Debra Oswald’s Skate, and starred in Martin Murphy’s feature film Lost Things by Stephen Sewell.

'A History in the Life (and possible death) of My Pelvis' will be staged at Shopfront on:

Friday October 24th - 8pm

Saturday October 25th - 8pm

Sunday October 26th - 5pm
