Plus Sydney’s premier performers Jrisi and male belly dancer Shiva

Jillina from the internationally acclaimed ‘Bellydance Superstars’ makes a brief visit to Perth on 22 -24 August.
She will be performing at The Harissa Club along with Sydney’s premier performers Jrisi (Hathor Dance Studio) and popular male belly dancer Shiva.

Joining them on stage will be local troupe Raks Harissa, the Belyssa Academy and Egyptian tabla player Hassan Yousef among others.

The show will feature modern and traditional bellydance styles and promises to be a visual feast for the eyes and ears.

The Bellydance Superstars were created by Miles Copeland and have performed in over 350 concerts in 16 countries with Jillina as the main choreographer and artistic director of the group.

This internationally acclaimed dance troupe the ‘Bellydance Superstars’ have done for bellydance what Riverdance did for Irish dancing. They have taken the ancient art of bellydance and created a quality stage show that has filled theatres around the world.

The show is produced by two of Perth’s best know dancers, Rose Ottaviano and Alma Sarhan. Rose is WA’s most sought after bellydancer and often travels overseas to perform. You can see her perform at many corporate events and restaurants around the city.
