Based on the traditional Gilbert & Sullivan's tale, David H Bell & Rob Bowman have transformed this famous operetta into a swinging score stylized to the 1940s, staying true to many of the original harmonies encasing them in musical styles from jazz, swing, hot gospel and blues.
It's the hysterical twisted tale of two lovers that cannot live without each other as they are both forced to be married to unwanted suitors. Everything heats up when the Mikado is on his way, and an execution must take place in the town of Titipu! But is that what he's really coming for...?
This production is sure to not disappoint any musical fan, its got everything from the old days, just done in a new way!
