Acts and Snacks

Prepare to have your world knocked sideways. There will be drama, there will be laughter and there will be blood. Five high-powered one-act plays will be showcased in a stellar evening presented by KSP Theatre, in conjunction with Kicka Productions, Excalibur Theatre Company and Golden Glove Productions. Featuring in the evening titled Acts and Snacks, will be three award-winning productions by Queensland playwrights - “Fragments” by Aaron Sweeney (Kicka), “Countdown” by Kate Beck (Golden Glove) and the Mark Lucas thriller “Ichor” (Excalibur). Each of these productions has garnered a Best Original Script award on the South-East Queensland festival circuit this year and collectively have snared over thirty awards between them. As the presenting theatre, KSP will be performing two productions, “In Need of Care” directed by Margaret Watson and “Two Women & A Chair” directed by Brendan Jefferies.
