"The Mystery of Edwin Drood"
a musical by Rupert Holmes
Directed by Priscilla Busher
Musical Direction by Matt Austin

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is a musical (by Rupert Holmes - famous for the 'pina colada' song), which is based on the unfinished novel by Charles Dickens of the same name.

The story itself deals with John Jasper, a Jekyll and Hyde choirmaster who is madly in love with his music student, Miss Rosa Bud, who in turn is engaged to Jasper's nephew, the young Edwin Drood. When Drood disappears on Christmas Eve, suspicions arise: Was Edwin Drood murdered? If so, then whodunit? The audience is in the driver's seat as when they vote on the murderer, they choose the ending performed each night.
