Sweet/Nothing

Unreasonable Adults will be undertaking a 24 durational, process driven event during this year's Feast Queer Festival in Adelaide, 25-26 November. The work, Sweet/Nothing, is a performance-vivisection into the death of desire, endless queer cut ups of failed love letters, doomed romance and nothing about love. Using an extensive library of found and original texts, vhs tapes, dvds, sound bites and long-distance telephone calls, the group endeavour to construct and pull apart an unstable library where nothing is safe, everything is open for inspection and all is not what it seems. This durational Live Art event will take place in our studio-lab space and over the space of 24 hours, audiences can log-on to our website and view the streamed live event, download media, read our journal and also visit the lab by appointment.
