They make fun and they gangle." – Tim Minchin On Friday February 29th, the boys will record their first ever full length CD and are looking for an audience full of fun loving people who enjoy a good laugh. Luke & Wyatt are young, fresh and funny. Equipped with piano, guitar and Arts degrees, their infectious music comedy will make you quit your job and join a band. And now they want the CD to prove it. Originally both country lads now based in Perth, these excitable boys always explode onto the stage delivering an energetic live show full of catchy songs and razor sharp wit. And their hotly anticipated Live Recording Show will be no different. Luke & Wyatt’s Live Recording Show will see the boys transform into teddy bears and women; tell stories of love, potatoes and life after arts degrees; and divulge some of their more private, embarrassing moments. As well as playing regular gigs at Perth’s established comedy venues The Comedy Lounge, Lazy Susan’s Comedy Den and The Laugh Resort, Luke & Wyatt won Perth’s only musical comedy competition, 'Acoustic Idol'. They've supported international touring acts such as Greg Fleet, Dave Callan, Tom Gleeson and Julia Morris, and also supported Tim Minchin at the 2006 Perth International Arts Festival. Luke & Wyatt most recently headlined at the 2007 RAW State Final, opened for the Marijuana-logues and are regularly heard on RTRfm.
