This non-professional premiere focuses on the extraordinary life of Peter Allen, from his humble beginnings growing up in an Australian bush town to his meteoric rise to fame as an international star. The first Australian musical to conquer Broadway, The Boy from Oz was nominated for five Tony Awards in 2004, including Best Musical, and our own Hugh Jackman won the Tony for Best Actor in a Musical.
