Glengarry Glen Ross, the 1984 Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning comedy by David Mamet, follows a group of four Chicago salesmen who work together selling undesirable real estate at inflated prices. The bosses of the company, Mitch and Murray, have declared a sales contest which means the salesman who tops the all-important ‘leader board’ wins a Cadillac, whilst the last two get the chop. It’s ‘sink or swim’, as all involved backstab, steal and con their way to survive. In a world where morality and friendship are considered nonexistent to the closing of a sale, lying, stealing and cheating are all in a days work.
