The 'KARAOKE TWIST' most appropriately, returns in time for the silly season. 'LET’S TWIST AGAIN, LIKE WE DID LAST SUMMER' 'The Karaoke Twist’ made its debut in December 2006, at the Old Mill Theatre in South Perth. The show was enjoyed by our audiences, and we the cast and crew, had such a fun time, that we decided we should ‘twist again this summer' …and so here we are, with the amended, ‘TKT Christmas Special!’ This new version retains all that audiences loved about the original, whilst adding a touch of Christmas to the mix. The Karaoke Twist will I'm sure, prove to be the most fun you’ll have at a theatre this Christmas. ABOUT THE TWIST Paul is depressed with his life. His life long mate Matt is equally depressed at having to listen to Paul whinge to him about his depression. Matt suggests that the only way Paul can overcome his depression is to find a girlfriend, and being a true mate, he offers to help Paul find a suitable beau. Somewhat desperate, as well as depressed, Paul reluctantly accepts the offer, and the two set out on their mission…fate lends a gentle hand, when Matt spots a karaoke competition at the local shopping centre. It’s here that they meet Sophie and Janet, rivals in the competition….karaoke is in the air…and so too perhaps is love…. We hope you can join us for anight of fun... Johnny Grim
