This quality big brass band plays popular tunes spanning many decades. The bands amazing sound is produced by four tubas, four trombones, six tenor horns, two euphoniums, four baritones; six to eight cornets and one flugel horn. The band play a range of popular tunes from the 1900’s including music from the war years right up to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Rod Stewart, with occassional appearances by vocalists and instrumental soloists. In the early 1990’s the band won a government sponsored award for outstanding service to senior citizens in Western Australia.” Admission includes morning tea, which begins at 10.15am.
