Details
The Gaelic Theatre will be hosting a fundraiser for the Splinter Theatre Company – an independent theatre company who are raising money for their production of The Small Things in August as part of the 2007 prestigious B Sharp season at the Belvoir Street Theatre. The Small Things is the a new play from Irish writer Enda Walsh, who after the international success of his play Disco Pigs is now considered one of the most exhilarating playwrights of his generation.
Featuring on this night are the warm sounds of TIM IRELAND (Solo), performing acoustically his enigmatic tunes that have been enjoyed by audiences along the east coast of Australia.
Joining him as special guest on this night is none other than OLD MAN RIVER (Solo) also performing acoustically his unique special blend of rootsy/folk/eastern influenced songs. Other surprise guests will join them, including vocal artist MR PERCIVAL, painting with his voice incredibly rich soundscapes and sublime grooves.
There will be raffle prizes including a case of Guinness, cinema tickets, tickets to the ACO, dinner for two plus loads more, so please come along and support independent art and enjoy some of the best live music Sydney has to offer!
