Three Pairs of Shorts
A showcase of new Australian talent in a broad range of theatre disciplines from writing to production, direction to performance. The six original works being presented include:
Stranger Outside – Who's that knocking on the shearing shed door?
Insurrection – Follow a rebel leader's journey during a time of revolution.
Quacked – Be a fly on the wall in this twisted 40's police interrogation room in New York.
Ruffle My Feathers – Marriage can be tough. Marriage counselling can be tougher.
A World Without Sin – In a tightly knit church community, nobody has secrets. Or do they?
Story Book – What do you say to someone you only speak to in dreams?
Three Pairs of Shorts is the major production for the 1st year students of Swinburne Theatre Arts, many of whom are taking on challenging roles for the first time.
A broad spectrum of plays covering a wide variety of drama and comedy, Three Pairs of Shorts is an amusing, intriguing and delightfully entertaining night of excellent theatre!
