‘Tick, Tick, Boom!’ is the autobiographical tale of Jonathan Larson – a struggling, young composer on the brink of turning 30 with his life seemingly going nowhere. The musical shows the composer’s journey that led to the Broadway mega-hit, ‘Rent’.
About to turn thirty and still waiting tables for a living, Jon is desperately scared of his future. The pressure on Jon increases as his girlfriend announces that she wants to get married and move out of the city. Further, his best friend Michael has abandoned the Bohemian lifestyle and is now making it rich on Madision Avenue.
