Misery

Writer, Paul Sheldon has just finished his latest novel. A novel he believes is the best he has ever written. After Smoking his single cigarette and drinking his bottle of Dom Perignon champagne, he sets off from the Colorado hotel from which he wrote his very first. He would not make it home. Awakened by excruciating pain, Paul looks around the room, unaware of where he is. In the corner he hears a voice. A woman walks into view and explains that he has been here for some weeks. His car ran off the road in the snow storm, and lucky for him, she was passing and saw the car down the embankment.
