Stepping Out is unashamedly pure entertainment. Why does a group of people with nothing in common need to come together on e a week to be tortured… no other word for it… by a could-have-been-a–great-dancer as a teacher accompanied by an equally frustrated pianist? What drives ordinary sane people to learn to tap dance…? More than learn to believe that they can put on the dance concert to end all dance concerts? A cast of 10, nine females and one male, wildly differing types learn to come to terms not just with their feet but each other as they practice, practice and practice for a charity concert.
