Express Lane is a comedy that explores one of humanity’s greatest mysteries: why do we wait in the 8 items or less lane at the shopping centre, when all other checkouts move quicker?
Despite this, people fight for their right, nay, duty, to occupy this lane so long as they possess under the required limit of goods. What results is a dropping of the everyday facades and masks that people put up, the long wait revealing their true nature as they do anything they can to try and get ahead in line, and out into the real world.
Throw in some bungling burglars, an enigmatic troublesome old man, the NRMA and a few charity bears and you have a recipe for some riotous laughs!
