FAMILY STORIES is a thrilling, devastating, hilarious allegory of life in a post-war society, written by one of Europe's most acclaimed young playwrights, and translated especially for the Australian premiere production by Serbian-Australian actor and AFI winner Bojana Novakovic.
Four adult actors play children who in turn play mums, dads, sons and daughers in a cuclical family saga spanning a decade of civil war, a darkly satiric game of 'playing house'. Every scene is a metaphor for the fea that results frm living in a society without free media or civil liberties under a government at war with itself.
