QUT Creative Industries and Brisbane Festival present accented body

Conceived and produced by Cheryl Stock, this interactive and transcultural collaboration features 30 artists from Australia, Korea, Japan and the UK in dance, music, visual and sonic media in an urban art event, comprising local performances, global reach, and distributed outcomes.

Six interconnected performance installation sites explore the concept of body as site and in site, live and virtual, through animating indoor and outdoor architectures across the Creative Industries Precinct and the Kelvin Grove Urban Village. Contributing remotely to accented body, simultaneous interactive events in Korea and the UK provide a global connectivity of real-time performance beyond Australia and its host city Brisbane. You are invited to play within and amongst the interactive sites, as well as enjoy a performance journey across all sites to the final site where you may relax or revisit your favorite installations, which are open to the public from 5.30-9.30pm
