AddressKADS Theatre, Town Square, Kalamunda
Brimstone & Treacle was written by acclaimed televison author, Dennis Potter, in 1975. It was banned by the BBC before it was transmitted which led to the 1982 film (starring Sting and Denholm Elliott) gaining cult status.
KADS are proud to present Potter's own stage adaptation on the tenth anniversary of his death.
A dark drama, the play's setting is the Bates' household, where the arrival of a mysterious stranger, whose motives are not all they appear, has a disturbing effect on the invalid daughter of the household.
