Hayden Tee - Sydney & Melbourne Shows
Australia's award winning cabaret artist presents
the New York Show that won rave reviews
"Make no mistake, this is a major talent" (Backstage Newspaper New York)
Hayden Tee is one of Australia's most exciting young theatre and cabaret stars. Winner of the 2002 Sydney Cabaret Convention New York Award, Hayden's unique blend of dramatic interpretation, uninhibited comedy and a remarkable sense of lunacy has made his weekly "Muf-Tee" show a late night institution in Sydney.
But it's Hayden's solo cabaret show that has been getting the most attention both here and overseas. Now, Hayden is bringing the show that wowed audiences in New York to Sydney's Kabarett Voltaire and Melbourne's Butterfly Club.
Hayden's appearances at Mama Rose's and The Algonquin Room in New York gained extraordinary press reviews and audience reaction, and now it is Sydney's turn to experience this remarkable show.
Hayden's solo show reveals a different side of his talent, taking the audience on a journey from his early years in his native New Zealand to his current home and career in Australia.
It's certainly a show not to be missed.
Hayden has appeared in a wide variety of musicals and theatre in Australia and his native New Zealand, including playing the role of Jack in "Into the Woods" and appearing in "The Wizard of Oz" (GFO/MackÂ’s Ent). In 2001 Hayden was a resident artist at The Court Theatre, Christchurch appearing in "Kiss Me Kate" (Grumio) and "Kiwifruits II" (Wayne). He also appeared in the leading role of Frances in the February 2003 production of "Three Winters Green" at the SBW Stables Theatre, gaining much critical acclaim.
