It's 1927 and plucky Daisy Meredith, a poor but bright child, wins a scholarship to become the first elementary schoolgirl to attend Grangewood. At the "jolliest school in England" she comes up against complete rotters and snobby gals. Daisy isn't downtrodden for long - with the help of her loyal friend Trixie; she overcomes prejudice, competes for school honours and searches for hidden treasure - all before cocoa and lights out. A delightful spoof on all those 'jolly-hockey-sticks' schoolgirl stories.

Patrons are advised to leave sufficient time to find parking, as latecomers may not be admitted until there is a suitable break in the performance.
