GOOD NEWS for lovers of comedy, rock 'n roll, poetry and indulgence....

The irresistable legend (think James Dean meets Elvis) of Australia's performance poetry scene, TUG DUMBLY comes to Perth for a strictly limited number of shows to launch his new CD, 'Idiom Savant'.

This year, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival paper called Dumbly a "phenomenon".
"He is a masterful performer with a vigour for spoken word that electrifies the room."

You may recognize his crooner's voice from regular segments on Triple J, Radio National, or his debut CD, 'Junk Culture Lullabies' (2001).

Dumbly was last seen in Perth performing his one man show, 'Deadstar', about which the Sunday Times wrote, "his energy weeps from his pores and his wit draws laughter from dangerous places".

Tug's new CD, 'Idiom Savant', will be launched @ The Hyde Park Hotel (Werzel's Comedy Lounge, entry $12/$10) on Thurs Nov 6, and @ MOJO'S Bar on Sun, Nov 9.
He will also be making guest appearances on Fri Nov 7 @ The Fremantle Hotel's Comedy Show, and Wed Nov 12 @ The Laugh Resort Comedy Club, Brass Monkey Hotel, with hairy Dave Callan.

Check local guides/venues for start times and ticket prices.
