Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (OSCEFA) is proud to announce that "HATS OFF 2003:a fundraising concert with a difference," will return to Melbourne on Sunday 2 November 2003 for one night only.
An exciting combination of Australia's biggest stars will gather to make this show a night to remember.
Hats Off with new director, Shaun Murphy (Combo Fiasco, The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Little Night Music and The Secret Garden), will bring together a large variety of Melbourne’s most talented arts community for one night only. One patron from last years show said “it’s like a smorgasboard of entertainment, there’s a bit of everything for everyone”. Shaun Murphy said “It is a 'no-holds-barred' variety concert in the truest sense of the term, with a line-up of stars standing side-by-side with a young generation of performers, all hungry to strut their stuff, unified not only by their enormous talents, but also in their single-minded commitment to raising funds for HIV awareness. "
Since its formation in 1998, OSCEFA has raised more than $100,000 for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. All proceeds from Hats Off Melbourne 2003 will be donated to the Victorian based AIDS care facilities.
Featuring: · Members of the casts of WE WILL ROCK YOU and SATURDAY NIGHT· The Princes of the Night · Combo Fiasco · The Melbourne Gay and Lesbian Chorus · The Ross Skiffiington Grand Magic Company · Debra Byrne · Lucas de Jong · Marty Fields · Ced le Meledo · Silvie Paladino · Anne Phelan ·Bernadette Robinson ·David Rogers-Smith · Collin Salter · Susan-ann Walker · Anne Wood · The Centrestage School of Performing Arts · IsabelleÂ’s Golden Tappers · and many more....
