Equus

written in a fervour of mid-seventies horse-worship by the ever so epic pete schaffer, it's a play about a tacker from the hills of surrey who, in a visionary act, decides them dern nags have seen far too much. the play follows the kid and his analyst through a series of ruckus-style re-enactments asking and ass-kicking the big questions: what's wrong with my parents?, is the world as weird as it seems?, and does a ten-gallon hat really hold ten gallons? Directors rebecca hill and erin fuery say: 'quit your braying, quit horsing around. come for the wild ride that is EQUUS, and you'll come out feeling not at all sheepish.'
