This play is set in the 1990's America, where sexual favours, powerful plays and personal satisfaction are the order of the day. Remember the seven deadly sins? Well here they come, in this black comedy about life, love and winning.
Douglas Jensen is a corporate tycoon with a need to win at all costs. His long suffering wife Anna can't match him, and resorts to writing bad poetry to maintain an identity. She's losing the game badly.
Meanwhile Douglas has decided to exercise an 'option' and eliminate a rival businessman, Lloyd Price. But the rather nervous Lloyd is not going down without a fight, and hires a couple of crazy hit men, Bo and Rusty Riverton, for an option of his own.
The comedy and drama build, as an amorous and crafty secretary can't get enough (of a good thing), while a rather a rather pathetic traffic cop shows more interest in baseball and his stomach, than the job at hand. The deadly sins are accumulating.
As in real life, the best laid out plans can sometimes fail, and believe me, with this wacky bunch and their sins, they really do come unstuck! There is never a dull moment and laughs aplenty as this crazy, and at times desperate group pursue their clandestine goals.
