Enter Severin’s smoke-filled parlour. A diary lies on the table. Its title: ‘Confessions of a Super-Sensualist’… Perhaps his story will convince you we don’t always want our fantasies made real.

Venus in Furs explores a love affair which pushes fantasy to the limit. Severin is obsessed with becoming the slave of a cruel woman. His goddess is Wanda, a woman with dark fantasies, a fertile imagination and, of course, the indispensable furs. Their story warns: in love and lust there is only one choice – be the hammer or the anvil.

A production for the Fringe Festival, this play features artwork by Sayraphim Lothian as well as a stunning cast and a sensual journey. With sneak previews on 24&25 September (cheap $13/$10 tix) and late shows (starting at 8:30pm) on 3,4&11 October.
