Two strangers, both still reeling from the horrors of Auschwitz, search for
light and wisdom. One believes that the Jews have no future, the other that
a new life awaits them in Palestine.
Taking place in that pivotal historical moment between the mass annihilation
of the Jews and the troubled birth of Israel, TWO effortlessly combines
powerful human drama with complex moral and intellectual themes; remaining
as powerful and relevant today as when it premiered at Perth's Hole in the
Wall 20 years ago.
This special 20th anniversary production of Ron Elisha's landmark Australian
play is directed by David Meadows (The Elephant Man; Mozart & Salieri), and
performed by Joe Isaia and Tracey Woolrych.
