When the innocence of youth is abused the very earth should rise up and defend that innocence, the trees should up root themselves and protect that child, but they don't they stand by dumb and damn themselves as immutable uncaring bystanders.
Our greatest wealth is joy within, and in our young that wealth abounds, he or she that would steal that wealth to leave the young destitute is the greatest enemy of human kind.
This is the story of an innocent, Bridget, who is raped. It is told through internal monologue and dialogue, intending to reveal the initial conscious thoughts that bubble above raw gapping desolation.
And how gradually, confusedly Bridget attempts to reinvent herself with consequence for her and one who loves her.
