Campbelltown Theatre Group is proud to present its fourth season of this Gilbert & Sullivan classic, under the direction of long-time member Mark Simpson (who makes his directorial debut).
The show tells the story of a young man (Frederic) who is indentured to a band of pirates but is free to leave after his 21st birthday. He does so with the intention of vanquishing his former mates, but falls in love with Mabel, the daughter of a very modern Major General.
Frederic becomes the victim of a lie when the Major General tells a 'terrible story' about him to the Pirates. A battle ensues as the rest of the story unfolds.
Matinees at 2pm Saturday and Sunday will be included.
