If you have an interest in theatre and want to broaden your performance skills while picking up a bit of theory on the side, this workshop series could be right up your alley. Facilitated by professional actor and director, Gibson Nolte, this 4-part hands-on performance-based workshop will build your knowledge of theatre history and practice with activities drawn from Commedia Del Arte through to Artaud, Brecht and contemporary improvisation.
Gibson Nolte has worked as a professional actor and director in Australia and the United States for the past five years. In this time he has worked with Perth Theatre Company, Effie Crump Theatre Company, Black Swan, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Barking Gecko, Steamworks and Performing Lines in Australia, as well as with Double M Arts and Entertainment in New York and members of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
