Savoy Opera Company are putting on the most popular Gilbert and Sullivan Opera, The Mikado.

This follows the story of Nanki-Poo, a nobleman who has disguised himself to prevent a disastrous arranged marriage from occuring, who has fallen in love with Yum-Yum, a village girl. Unfortunately, Yum-Yum is already engaged to Koko, a cheap tailor. Although Koko has been condemned to death for flirting, due to a supreme stroke of luck he has been let out on bail and promoted to Lord High Executioner and he intends to pursue his marriage to Yum-Yum.
