"Our Countrys Good" is a Beautifully written award winning play concerning the First Fleet Convicts and Their Captors putting on the first play in Sydney in 1789.It is based on a true story from the the novel by Thomas Kennealy .PTC have assembled a talented cast of actors to bring this funny,tragic and moving chapter in Australia's History to life.
The show opens with the Colony starving and The Governor,Phillip decides to put on a play to celebrate the Kings Birthday to lift Morale.
The season opens on the 8th August 2003 with a Champagne and Chicken Gala Opening and contines for three weekends.
Matinees on Sunday 10th and 17th at 2.30
