In July and August Opera Hunter will bring to Newcastle and surrounds, the fabulous musical thriller Sweeney Todd, already considered to be one of the great triumphants of the twentieth century musical theatre.
The title roles will be played by Timothy Blundell as Sweeney Todd and Susan Carson as Mrs Lovett. In addition Annabella Redman will play the beautiful Johanna, Stuart Brown as Anthony Hope, Daniel Wilson as Tobias, Wendy Ratcliffe as Beggar Woman, Howard Bridgman as Pirelli, Byron Littelwood as The Judge and Guilherme Noronha as The Beadle.
The season opens on Wednesday July 23 with the last performance on Sunday August 10. The weekly format is Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 8.00 PM, and a matinee Sunday at 2.00 PM.
15+[Mature] Recommended For Mature Audiences 15 years and over
