Breathe

Groove Champion Productions proudly present the professional Premiere of "Breathe",an original play by David Burton.

The play deals with the all too familiar issue of teen drug use, presenting the wider affects on both family and friends, showing the entire social issue, from a variety of angles.

The power of drugs. What decisions would you make? The waste of life. The struggle forward. The futility of death.

Breathe is not there to trivialize the issues. The play allows for the audience member to make their own decisions on the events that take place during the course of the story.

Are all people on drugs, bad people? How would you feel? Does this remind you of someone you know?

The story follows the path of Chad from vibrant teenager, through to fallen adult, and the choices he makes that ultimately lead him on a downward spiral. Glimmering with hope in his life, none of this seems to matter as his choices lead him to keep altering his path.

Friends that are polar opposites. Families united. Families divided. An original play, a familiar story. What do you think?
