It's time for a real, good old-fashioned FRIGHT !!

And where else but at the Brookman Street Theatre (Home of the Goldfields Repertory Club) can you be guaranteed to have a "fright night" you and your friends will be talking about for weeks afterward.

We've made you laugh, we've made you cry..
now let's see if we can make you JUMP!!!

"I'll Be Back Before Midnight!"
a thriller written by Peter Colley and directed by Kevin Blair.

"I'll Be Back Before Midnight!" will keep you guessing in the tale all about Greg (Travis Hooper) and Jan (Lisa van Oyen) - the husband and wife seemingly making a fresh start on their married life after Jan's recent spell in hospital due to a nervous breakdown.
Greg rents an old farmhouse in the country belonging to the old and slightly demented farmer George (Graham Hill)
and takes Jan there to "complete her recovery".
However, strange and unsettling things start to happen as soon as they arrive and to add to the intrigue it's not too long before Greg's sister Laura (Clare Fleming) appears on the scene - much to Jan's dismay. Why is Laura there? And what is her relationship with her brother really like?

But never mind the somewhat odd characters - what about the history of the farmhouse? The tales of murder and ghosts? The flickering lights, the strange and ominous sounds, the bumps, the knocks, the blood!!
What's really going on? Is Jan starting to lose the plot again?
Is everything really as it seems?

Who should you believe? Who can really be trusted? Or is it all a dream?

This exciting little drama will thrill you, shock you and probably have you jumping out of your seat at one point - before bursting into laughter.

It has just the right blend of drama, suspense, comedy and intrigue.

But don't merely take my word for it...
look at the reviews from previous productions ....

"It's a first rate thriller that will scare the daylights out of you..."

"...the perfect concoction of suspense and mayhem mixed

with just the right amount of comic relief..."

"From the beginning it puts a chilling grip on your senses...a nightmare of frightening occurrences which result in an ending so thrilling it leaves you hanging..."

"No amount of praise seems excessive! By the end you'll either be shivering in your seat or falling out of it with laughter."

So what are you waiting for??
