“Children’s theatre at its best”
-THE WEST AUSTRALIAN
Once again the Hayman Theatre Company, in collaboration with the Perth Zoo, will be presenting a new production of their acclaimed adaptation of KiplingÂ’s famous Just So stories. This yearÂ’s show features four stories: How the Elephant Got His Trunk, How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin, How the Camel Got His Hump, and How the Kangaroo Learned to Hop.
As well as being a lively and entertaining show for
all ages, JUST SO! also makes an excellent introduction for younger children to the art and
magic of theatre and play-making. All stage props and items of costume used in the show are simple and easy to make which, combined with a direct, fast-moving story-theatre style, shows children how accessible theatre and performance can be, encouraging them to create and perform stories of their own and conveying a sense of the fun involved in performing.
“Comments from children, parents and staff have been full of praise for the professional presentation, high standard of acting and excellent rapport with the audiences”
