Who would think that ‘the forgeries of jealousy’ could provoke so much fun?
A wedding is supposed to take place, the realization of a holy union of bliss. However, the joy of that union is interrupted by a plea from outside.
A fight over who has the prettiest servant isnÂ’t much of a stoush, but when a mischievous fairy with a magic herb is involved, anything can happen.
Through comedy, this production explores what the real meaning of the marital vow “for better or for worse” might be.

Hayman Theatre is pleased to announce Boris Radmilovich will be Artist-in-Residence during April and May. During this time he will work with Curtin Performance StudiesÂ’ students on a production of ShakespeareÂ’s, A Midsummer NightÂ’s Dream.

Boris Radmilovich graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo in 1990. Due to the war he left Sarajevo in 1992 and lived and worked in Belgrade, his hometown, before coming to Australia in 1995. With extensive acting experience in theatre, film and television, Boris has directed several plays and lectured on the Stanislavski method. His many theatre credits include co-directing the 1996 Festival of Perth smash hit "Miss Bosnia", directing premiere production of "Thermophobia" at the Blue Room in 1998 as well as acting in numerous productions including “I am Nijinsky” Sally Richardson / Deckchair Theatre, “Antigone in New York” Theatre Zart, Subi Shorts, Welcome to Broome and Plainsong for Black Swan Theatre Company. Boris teaches acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
