What people said on ITA in 2000:
"I saw Damage TheatreÂ’s production of this play last night at MojoÂ’s in North Fremantle and was most impressed. A troupe of 8 young actors, all well skilled and ragingly familiar with the material gave a slick, high energy and beautifully timed performance which was much appreciated by the packed (mostly youthful) house. Well done! When are you on next?," Stinger
"I too was among the incredibly packed-in crowd at MojoÂ’s last night...The actors gave a slick and polished performance which still retained freshness and vitality. The unusual format worked well, sustaining a strong connection towards others on stage, even though they never interact. The awakening of the city was a great piece of performance poetry...Almost all the actors possessed a strong mastery of different accents, with only one or two "weak dialogues"...Overall, a strong and vivid piece, emotionally engaging and extremely well acted. Well Done!," Secret Squirrel.
Eight actors portray forty-seven characters in a powerful and compelling drama. A kaleidoscopic journey of a young boy from the slums who is constantly gnawed by an acute awareness of the meaninglessness of what is going on around him.
CAST: Paul Goddard, Crispian Chan, Adam McGurk, Ingrid Hartwig, Kemal Osman, Carla Kissane, Chris Sansoni, Chris Taylor.
