Larrikin Theatre (in association with Barking Gecko) present
"THE STONES"
Starring Sam Longley and Craig Williams.
“I wanted to know what was going to happen to me. I never thought I’d ever kill anyone. I’m only thirteen.”...
Presented with support from the WA Police and Transperth, THE STONES is based on the true story of two teenage boys who saw their competitive fun turn into a lethal nightmare.
Well-known Perth actors Craig Williams and Sam Longley combine high energy, live music, and dynamic physical theatre to present "a tight, action-filled comedy-drama at once appealing and accessible for a teen audience and carrying a heavy message. THE STONES has no answers, but it dares to ask some of the big questions" (Adelaide Advertiser)
Written and directed by Stefo Nantsou and Tom Lycos (Zeal Theatre, VIC), this provocative Australian play "...ranks with the best theatre I've seen, and it's a potent experience for adults as well as it's target youth audience" (Kathleen Oliver, Vancouver International Childrens Theatre)
"...if you think you've seen me sweat before, think again! Possibly my most energetic performance ever, and those who've seen me on stage know that's saying something!" (Craig Williams, the shorter larrikin)
