“for killing an actor he’d get life, for killing a director he’d get eternal gratitude”.

Just when he thought life couldnÂ’t get any crazier, the unwitting Louis is cajoled into producing MozartÂ’s comic opera Cosi Fan Tutte with a desperate ensemble of mental patients.
Cosi becomes a chance for the inmates to escape the doldrums of their reality and experience the magic of theatre, a world where they can live out their inner madness and their stifled ambitions without the discrimination that put them there in the first place.
Cosi is a celebration of love – love of life, love of theatre, love of one another and the human spirit that carries us on, even in the face of adversity.

Originally hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, director Michael McCall is a graduate of the Theatre Arts degree at Curtin University and the NIDA acting course. After some years in Sydney, where Michael worked extensively in theatre, film and television, acting and directing, he excitedly returns to what he regards as one of the most eclectic theatre environments in Australia. McCall looks forward to taking the students through the amalgam of acting training he has acquired and, most importantly, making them aware of the essence of theatre, communicating ideas and stories in our individual ways.
